ASTM A653M
What is ASTM A653M?
This Standard Specification for Steel Sheet, Zinc-Coated (Galvanized) or Zinc-Iron Alloy-Coated (Galvannealed) by the Hot-Dip Process
ASTM A653M specification covers steel sheet, zinc-coated (galvanized) or zinc-iron alloy-coated (galvannealed) by the hot-dip process in coils and cut lengths.
ASTM A653M Equivalent
Chinese standard: GBT 2518-2008
European standard: EN10147
Japanese standard: JIS G3302
What is G30 VS G90?
G90 refers to the average minimum weight of the galvanized sheet measured at three points on both sides of 0.9oz/ft2, which is the SI unit of 275g/m2. The conversion relation between them is 1oz=0.0284kg, so 0.9oz=0. 02556kg=25.56g 1ft2=0.093m2 25.56g/0.093m2=275g/m2.
The correspondence between the G and Z labels is as follows:
G90——Z275
G75——Z230
G70——Z215
G65——Z200
G60——Z180
G50——Z150
G40——Z120
G30——Z90
